Senior Accountant

Regional Cancer Care Associates is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team. This role will coordinate corporate close and consolidated financial statements, maintain the corporate general ledger, and possess strong multi-tasking abilities.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with general ledger maintenance, including preparing financial schedules, writing journal entries, and reviewing G/L coding on invoices.
  • Coordinate corporate close of all companies and ensure accurate monthly accruals.
  • Assist Regional Accounting Offices & Controllers to ensure accurate accounting for new practices, including opening balance sheet and adjustments to B/S and MSA.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of various records and accounts, including balance sheet and supporting detail and fixed assets records.
  • Maintain fixed asset system.
  • Assist in reviewing monthly Practice Reporting Packages for accuracy, reasonableness, and completeness.
  • Complete monthly consolidated balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement.
  • Provide analyses as requested.
  • May function as a lead for junior-level accounting staff.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related business curriculum and a minimum five years of experience in public accounting or general industry accounting.
  • Healthcare experience preferred.
  • CPA or parts passed preferred.
