Job Description

As a Computer Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing software that operates and enables our manufacturing robotics. Your primary focus will be on ensuring that our machines are built correctly and meet the expectations of our customers. This critical role requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Configure and program PCs within specified timeframes based on the complexity and uniqueness of the machine.
  2. Develop and implement software solutions using proprietary company coding language, following procedures and instructions to meet customer expectations.
  3. Meet project deadlines and ensure the quality of the final product by completing programming tasks within specified timeframes.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that products are created according to specifications and meet the required quality standards.
  5. Read and interpret mechanical schematics to ensure accuracy and identify potential issues.
  6. Utilize software to communicate issues or delays during build, ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact on production.
  7. Set up machines to perform processes, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  8. Work collaboratively with team members to complete builds within specified timeframes, ensuring goals and expectations are met.
  9. Maintain equipment in optimal working order, reporting any issues to team leaders within one hour of detection.
  10. Ensure confidentiality of customer information and maintain a secure working environment.
  11. Practice safety and efficiency by maintaining a neat and organized workstation.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• Strong programming skills in multiple languages, with a focus on proprietary company coding language (DMC)
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to interact with customers and cross-functional teams
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Physical stamina to work in a manufacturing environment, with the ability to lift up to 25 pounds
