LPN-LTC Vent Unit Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our Vent Unit team at Levindale Hebrew Geriatric Center and Hospital. As a LPN-LTC, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized nursing care to residents on the Vent Unit, utilizing a general understanding of nursing principles and basic physical assessment skills.
  • Attend to daily unit operations, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
  • Assume leadership roles as needed, working collaboratively with the Registered Nurse/Director of Nursing.
Requirements:
  • Formal working knowledge equivalent to an Associate's degree (2 years college).
  • Less than one year experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (diploma).
  • License for Practical Nursing and AHA CPR Certification.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Synquest, IV Pump, Phillips Monitoring System, Accucheck, and EKG Machine.
