LPN-LTC Vent Unit Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our Vent Unit team at Levindale Hebrew Geriatric Center and Hospital. As a LPN-LTC, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our team.
Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized nursing care to residents on the Vent Unit, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
- Collaborate with the Registered Nurse/Director of Nursing to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Assume leadership responsibilities as needed, contributing to the daily operations of the unit.
- Utilize basic physical assessment skills and a general understanding of nursing principles to provide effective care.
Requirements:
- Formal working knowledge equivalent to an Associate's degree (2 years college).
- Less than one year experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (diploma).
- License for Practical Nursing and AHA CPR Certification.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Synquest, IV Pump, Phillips Monitoring System, Accucheck, and EKG Machine.
