LPN-LTC Vent Unit Nurse

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) on our Vent Unit, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care to our residents. Under the supervision of the Registered Nurse/Director of Nursing, you will utilize your nursing skills and knowledge to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing vital signs, and documenting patient information.
- Assist with daily operations of the unit, including maintaining a clean and safe environment, and ensuring that all necessary equipment is functioning properly.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans that meet the needs of each resident.
- Participate in leadership roles as needed, including assuming responsibility for the daily operations of the unit.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (diploma).
- License for Practical Nursing and AHA CPR Certification.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Synquest, IV Pump, Phillips Monitoring System, Accucheck, and EKG Machine.
