Job Summary

10bits is a leading healthcare staffing company providing high-quality clinical professionals to hospitals and medical facilities. We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team.

Job Responsibilities
  • Assist physical therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients, ensuring effective care and rehabilitation.
  • Help patients perform therapeutic exercises to improve mobility, strength, and function, promoting optimal recovery and independence.
  • Provide hands-on therapy, such as massage and stretching, under the direction of a physical therapist, enhancing patient comfort and well-being.
  • Educate patients on exercises, mobility techniques, and the use of adaptive devices, empowering them to take an active role in their rehabilitation.
  • Monitor and document patients' progress during therapy sessions, maintaining accurate records and facilitating effective communication with healthcare teams.
  • Prepare treatment areas and equipment for therapy sessions, ensuring a safe and efficient environment for patients and staff.
  • Instruct patients on the safe use of exercise equipment and assistive devices, promoting independence and confidence.
  • Communicate with the physical therapist regarding patients' progress and any changes in their condition, ensuring seamless care coordination.
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records, supporting the efficient operation of the physical therapy department.
  • Assist with patient transfers and positioning during therapy sessions, prioritizing patient safety and comfort.
Requirements
  • Minimum one year of experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
  • CPR/BLS Certification.
  • Covid Vaccination.
Work Schedule
  • Day shift.
  • 6:15 AM to 4:15 PM.
  • 4x10.
  • 40 hours/week.
