Job Overview

Position: Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)


Interim HealthCare is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to provide essential therapy services in a per-diem capacity. This role allows for flexibility in scheduling and the potential for travel within the service area.


Key Responsibilities:
- Implement therapeutic exercises and interventions to enhance patients' mobility and physical function.
- Track and document patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including physicians and family members, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and self-management strategies.
- Maintain thorough and accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA standards.
- Uphold all company policies and adhere to ethical standards in practice.


Qualifications:
- Must possess a valid state license as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
- A minimum of one year of relevant experience is preferred.
- Current CPR certification is required.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Availability for weekend and evening shifts as needed.
- Successful completion of a criminal background check and drug screening is mandatory.
