Aviation Systems Design Engineer

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Aviation Systems Design Engineer to join our team at Dassault Falcon Jet Corp.
Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing knowledge of general completion system principles, researching and finding appropriate guidance for design principles, and determining work scope based on customer specifications.
Key responsibilities include developing system interface drawings per customer's specification, checking drawings for accuracy, and ensuring systems will work as desired under the supervision of the team leader.
The engineer will also be responsible for completing required documentation to obtain design approval through both STC/MOD processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics, Engineering, or Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering (or related field) with relevant education from an accredited college or university
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role with excellent communication skills, ability to work in and around aircraft, and knowledge of MS Office Suites
- CATIA CAD systems experience and basic knowledge of aircraft components and hardware are desirable qualifications
Working Conditions
The successful candidate will work in an office environment at a computer as well as production areas and/or hangars. They must be able to climb stairs and move in and out of aircraft and not be sensitive to noise.
Occasional domestic and international travel may be required.
Salary Estimate
The estimated salary range for this position is between $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
