Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Construction Superintendent to lead our utility solar construction projects. The successful candidate will have a strong background in construction management, with a minimum of 10 years of experience supervising construction projects in the utility/solar industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the on-site construction team, including subcontractors
  • Coordinate and oversee all work on site
  • Attend weekly production and scheduling meetings
  • Work with safety personnel to ensure compliance with health and safety standards
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards
  • Monitor and report on project progress
  • Follow the project schedule to ensure deadlines are met
  • Ensure contractors are complying with applicable codes, standards, and permit requirements
  • Liaise with inspection authorities regarding approvals
  • Ensure the job site remains safe, clean, and orderly
  • Resolve on-site issues and emergencies
  • Maintain records for site personnel, including daily field reports, field orders, and RFIs
Requirements
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience supervising construction projects in utility/solar
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or similar field (desirable but not required)
  • Knowledge of quality, safety, and health guidelines for construction job sites
  • In-depth understanding of construction operations and processes
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, including MS Project and Word
  • Ability to interpret and build according to drawings, specifications, and other documents
  • Valid driver's license with a driving record in good standing required
  • Must meet physical requirements for driving, lifting, and carrying equipment/mechanical components
