About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate ABA Therapist to join our team at Kaleidoscope ABA. As a Behavior Technician, you will play a vital role in providing one-on-one ABA therapy to children under the clinical supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality ABA therapy to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, behavior plans, and other clinical instructions to deliver effective therapeutic services.
  • Collaborate with BCBA's and other team members to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Communicate effectively with children, families, and team members to ensure a positive and supportive environment.
  • Document progress and maintain accurate records of client interactions and treatment plans.
Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Possess a minimum of an Associate's Degree in a related field.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a CPR certification/First Aid certification and re-certification every 2 years.
  • Successful completion and maintenance of Safety Care Training.
  • At least 1 year of experience working with children with Autism or other developmental disabilities.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
Physical and Mental Demands
  • Must have full physical dexterity/agility or be able to independently position self and perform all movements required (bending, kneeling, computer typing, standing, fetching documents from file cabinets).
  • Must have sufficient corrected or uncorrected vision to carry out all duties and responsibilities.
  • Need to be able to lift and carry pediatric population (weight ranging from 5 to 50 lbs.).
  • Ability to respond effectively to varied demands of the child, family, supervisor, and other team members.
  • Ability to multi-task and take descriptive and accurate documentation.
  • Ability to use strategy and make quick intelligent decisions.
