About the Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Property Accountant to join our team at Jobot. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for preparing financial reports, documenting financial transactions, and guiding accounting clerical staff.
Responsibilities
- Prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
- Document financial transactions by entering account information.
- Substantiate financial transactions by auditing documents.
- Guide accounting clerical staff by coordinating activities and answering questions.
- Prepare payments by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements.
- Reconcile monthly bank statements and have responsibility for cash management.
- Maintain investor confidence and protect operations by maintaining confidentiality.
- Assist with year-end reporting, including annual filings, audits, and tax returns.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance (or degree in business with relatable experience).
- Excel experience.
- 2 to 3 years of accounting experience.
