Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team at Engage Search, LLC. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting with the completion of month-end close, financial packages, account reconciliations, cost reports, budgets, financial analysis, governmental and other miscellaneous reports.

Key Responsibilities
  • Exercise independent discretion and judgement in completion of month-end close and financial statement preparation for assigned facilities, including monthly account reconciliations and variance explanations in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
  • Includes journal entries and completion of Financial Package for assigned entities
  • Successfully create annual budget for assigned facilities
  • Complete annual tax packages for all assigned locations
  • Provide financial analysis as required or requested by the Accounting Manager or VP
  • Assist in training staff and senior accountants as requested by the department manager
  • Review balance sheet account reconciliations completed by the staff accountants as requested
  • Assist department manager with periodic audit reviews of financial packages
  • Assist in the completion of Cost Reports
  • Assist with review of AP batch review
  • Back-up other positions as requested by the Accounting Manager
  • Provide leadership and assistance to accountants as needed
  • Assist facility Administrators and accounting personnel with accounting related issues and requests
  • Perform special projects as needed for Manager, Administrators, Regional Financial Directors, and Regional Vice Presidents
  • Assist in the completion of work papers assigned for external audits as well as work with auditors on any audit related issues
  • Ability to work overtime as needed
  • Other duties as assigned by the department manager
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting
  • Self starter, team player, strong communication skills, customer oriented, leadership skills
  • Must be willing to travel when needed
