Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our team at Waste Connections. As a key member of our financial operations team, you will be responsible for performing monthly financial close functions, preparing financial statements, and reconciling general ledger accounts. Your expertise in financial analysis and reporting will help us make informed business decisions and drive growth.

Responsibilities:

* Perform monthly financial close functions, including preparation of financial statements and reconciliation of general ledger accounts.
* Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
* Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts to support business decisions.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement financial processes and procedures.

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
* 2+ years of experience in financial analysis and reporting.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
