Job Overview

This full-time position, working 40 hours a week, offers a competitive salary and generous PTO, along with a comprehensive benefits package. The salary for this role is estimated to be around $55,000 to $65,000 per year, depending on experience, which is significantly higher than the national average due to the region's lower cost of living.



Responsibilities


  • Assist providers and other healthcare professionals in performing patient care procedures, including injections, EKGs, and blood draws, while ensuring a smooth patient workflow.
  • Provide a variety of patient care procedures, including injections, EKGs, and blood draws, within the scope of practice defined by Samaritan Clinic under Washington State certification.
  • Manage rooming and patient flow, including pre-visit preparation, assisting with the patient visit, and post-visit duties, as well as informing the provider of schedule changes that impact patient flow.
  • Support our growing clinic team serving both our Pioneer clinic location.


Requirements


  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Active license in the State of Washington as a Medical Assistant-Certified.
  • Current (Healthcare Provider [HCP] level) CPR certification.
  • Experience working in a clinic setting providing support to providers in medical specialties preferred.
