Lead a Team of Healthcare Professionals as a Float Pool RN

As a Float Pool Registered Nurse with AvaStaff, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of patients and residents in the Port Orchard, WA community. Our team is dedicated to providing high-quality care and making a positive impact on the lives of those we serve.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with nursing staff, residents, and family members.
  • Prepare and administer medications, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Provide direct and indirect patient care, including planning and delivery of care.
  • Supervise the execution of resident plans of care and participate in their development.
  • Communicate effectively with physicians, nursing supervisors/managers, and co-workers regarding patient clinical conditions.
Qualifications:
  • A nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
  • A current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an RN in this state.
  • Knowledge of nursing and medical practices, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines related to nursing care facilities.
  • Experience with Electronic Medical Records and computer documentation systems.
  • Maintain confidentiality of resident care information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
