Job Title: RF/Microwave Electrical Engineer II

At Raytheon, we are seeking an experienced RF/Microwave Electrical Engineer II to join our engineering test team at the Advanced Microelectronics Solutions Department (AMSD) in Andover, MA.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled RF/Microwave Electrical Engineer II to perform RF/microwave/millimeter-wave measurements on GaAs and GaN devices, modules, and MMICs. The successful candidate will also assemble RF/microwave/millimeter-wave test systems, use software to control test equipment, and plot test results.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform RF/microwave/millimeter-wave measurements on GaAs and GaN devices, modules, and MMICs
  • Assemble RF/microwave/millimeter-wave test systems
  • Use software to control test equipment and plot test results
  • Support the MMIC and module design teams
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) major
  • 3 years of prior related work experience
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with RF/Microwave test equipment such as Performance Network Analyzers (PNAs), Vector Network Analyzers (VNAs), Spectrum Analyzers, Real-time Spectrum Analyzers (RSAs), Noise Figure Analyzers, Load-Pull systems, etc.
  • Experience/coursework in one or more of the following: RF/microwave, Analog, Digital Electronics, Circuit Design or Analysis, Electrical Components, Electromagnetics
  • Experience with any of the following software: Python, Labview, Keysight ADS, HFSS, Cadence Virtuoso, MATLAB, CST, Mentor Graphics' Expedition, AutoCAD, TCAD, C++, Java, JMP
