Position: Operations Support Specialist
As an Operations Support Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to oversee the daily routing and supervision of our Fiber Technicians during their installation tasks in the field. This role involves handling incoming communications from our internal teams to arrange installation services, as well as making outgoing calls to customers to provide updates regarding their installations and any potential delays.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Adjust technician routes as necessary to optimize efficiency.
- Conduct daily routing of resources within designated regions.
- Ensure compliance with ETA/TOA standards for field operations.
- Assist technicians in resolving issues that may arise during service activities.
- Communicate operational and dispatch concerns with supervisors and management.
- Handle inbound calls from technicians and customers effectively.
- Utilize various software tools to manage tasks supporting field operations, including ETA/TOA, Footprints, Q-manager, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Make outbound calls to customers to confirm service visit schedules or to gather additional information regarding service issues.
- Engage in special projects as assigned by the department supervisor.
- Perform other related duties as directed by the supervisor, adhering to all applicable laws.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- A High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
- Experience with computer-based order entry systems is essential.
- Must possess legal authorization to work in the U.S.
ADDITIONAL SKILLS:
- Proficiency in MS Word and Excel is required.
- Experience in telecommunications or video services is advantageous.
- Strong organizational, planning, and follow-up skills are necessary.
- Excellent interpersonal and process management abilities.
- Good analytical and communication skills, with sound judgment and the capacity to collaborate effectively with various departments.
- Able to identify priority issues and escalate them appropriately.
- Willingness to learn new processes and procedures.
- A collaborative spirit and a commitment to team success.
- A genuine passion for your work and the company's mission.
