Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and colleagues to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Review and analyze plans, specifications, and proposals to prepare bid estimates that meet client requirements.
  • Prepare high-level quantity and manpower take-offs to ensure accurate estimates.
  • Attend site visits, bid meetings, and coordination meetings to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Manage multiple estimates simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • 5 years of experience in commercial drywall estimating and project management.
  • Ability to handle tight deadlines and manage multiple estimates at once.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage several drywall projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in providing estimates and estimating services.
  • Computer skills, especially in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Experience with Quick-Bid and On-Screen Takeoff software.
  • Knowledge of construction processes and terminology.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints.
  • Strong organizational, prioritization, and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both internal and external.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
