Lighthouse Lab Services is seeking a skilled Anatomic Pathology Lab Manager to oversee laboratory operations and ensure quality levels of performance are maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor laboratory operations daily to ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Oversee Pathology and Autopsy sections.
  • Enroll and participate in proficiency programs for all services performed.
  • Ensure quality control program is effective and corrective actions are taken when necessary.
  • Staff planning and scheduling to meet service demands.
  • Provide orientation and training to personnel.
  • Encourage staff self-development and learning.
  • Implement performance management program.
  • Assist with planning and developing departmental operational goals.
  • Evaluate current and future technology within the laboratory.

Requirements:

  • Current license as a Supervisor in the specialty/specialties required by the laboratory section in the State of Florida.
  • Certified by a professional laboratory-certifying agency, i.e. by the American Society of Clinical Pathologist (ASCP) or eligible.
  • Five (5) years of Clinical Laboratory experience, including one (1) year of supervisory experience.
  • Graduate from an accredited school of Laboratory Technology.
  • Computer knowledge including Laboratory Information System (LIS), Hospital Information System (HIS), and personal computers.
