Position Summary
We are currently seeking a driven and creative Entry-Level Software Engineer to become a part of our Sensor and Systems Business Unit. This role is designed for individuals who are actively pursuing a degree or possess equivalent experience in software engineering or a related discipline. The primary responsibilities will include developing AI agents, researching large language models (LLMs), and crafting rapid prototypes to enhance our innovative projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with a diverse team to design and enhance AI agents, contributing throughout the development lifecycle.
- Engage in research focused on large language models (LLMs) to identify new techniques and methodologies that improve AI functionalities.
- Participate in the design and implementation of rapid prototypes, transforming innovative concepts into effective software solutions.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, adhering to industry best practices in software development.
- Assist in identifying and resolving software issues, supporting testing and quality assurance efforts.
- Contribute to team discussions, offering fresh ideas and actively participating in brainstorming sessions.
- Continuously expand knowledge of new technologies, tools, and industry trends, applying insights to ongoing projects.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or possess equivalent practical experience.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
- Basic understanding of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and large language models.
- Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to learning and adapting in a dynamic environment.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate in a team-oriented setting.
- Capability to work independently, managing time efficiently to meet project deadlines.
Compensation
The typical compensation range for this position is between $53,600 and $99,600, depending on experience, location, and other relevant factors.
