Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Associate to join our team at Food Lion. As a Quality Assurance Associate, you will play a critical role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation in our stores, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our customers and associates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, adhering to Food Lion's standards and guidelines.
  • Conduct daily inspections to identify and address any cleanliness or sanitation issues.
  • Develop and implement effective cleaning and sanitation procedures to minimize shrink and improve labor productivity.
  • Collaborate with other associates to ensure a positive customer experience and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Stay up-to-date with company policies, procedures, and guidelines, and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to use technical information to solve problems and learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
  • Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodations.
Working Conditions

This position requires standing 100% of the time, frequently walking short distances, and performing repetitive hand and arm motions. The associate must be able to handle a variety of substances associated with cleaning and packaging materials, fresh fruits, vegetables, house plants/flowers, and household cleaners. The associate must also be able to tolerate working in extreme hot/cold temperatures for up to 20 minutes at a time.
