Role Overview

The Senior Project Engineer is tasked with overseeing all facets of project assignments, utilizing the designated project management system to meet project goals.

The individual will collaborate with a team to plan, organize, execute, and finalize project tasks.
Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, execute, and monitor comprehensive project development, focusing on mechanical and manufacturing elements of design.
  • Maintain an up-to-date written outline of the project as it evolves.
  • Assist in formulating business and facility strategies to ensure product line sustainability and growth.
  • Engage in Project Identification meetings with marketing and management to clarify project specifications and scope.
  • Develop and implement an engineering program using the Project Management System to fulfill project objectives.
  • Coordinate with all departmental contacts to gather input and communicate project status, including scheduled reviews and reports.
  • Assess product designs for adherence to engineering principles, company standards, and customer contract specifications.
  • Facilitate the resolution of technical challenges, scheduling conflicts, and design testing issues as they arise.
  • Evaluate and suggest design modifications and specifications.
  • Collaborate with other Engineering Staff to provide insights based on individual expertise.
  • Prepare project cost estimates and manage expenditures within budget constraints.
  • May mentor and support less experienced Engineers and Technicians.
  • Perform additional tasks as required or directed.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience or training.
  • Preferred experience in Gas/Tankless design.
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
  • Ability to interpret scientific and technical documentation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction at all organizational levels.
  • Proficient in computer applications, including MS Office.
  • Skilled in data collection, analysis, and interpretation.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
