About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as a Bridge Construction Project Manager. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction of railroad infrastructure projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee on-site construction staff, including contractors and sub-consultants.
  • Coordinate with clients, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed in accordance with plans and specifications.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and implement project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports, records, and other relevant documents.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in railroad construction project management, with a focus on bridge construction.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
  • Strong knowledge of construction management principles, practices, and procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Class I Railroad experience with bridge structures.
  • Project coordination experience, including experience with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
  • Safety and quality control training, with a focus on railroad construction.
  • Experience managing subcontractors and project teams.
  • Document control and proven ability to prioritize and maintain project information.
