Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver/Direct Support Professional to join our team. As a Caregiver, you will provide support and assistance to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping them to achieve their goals and live a fulfilling life.

Responsibilities
  • Provide one-on-one support and assistance to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping them with daily living tasks, personal care, and behavioral support.
  • Develop and implement individualized support plans to help individuals achieve their goals and live a fulfilling life.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care and support.
  • Provide transportation and accompaniment to individuals for appointments, activities, and outings.
  • Assist individuals with meal preparation, grocery shopping, and household chores.
  • Document and report on individual progress and any concerns or issues that may arise.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • No prior experience necessary, but a willingness to learn and work with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities is essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance required.
