We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative at BJ's Wholesale Club. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Service
- Deliver outstanding customer service to members, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Provide product information, answer questions, and make recommendations to members to enhance their shopping experience.
- Transaction Processing
- Process member transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card, and other payment methods.
- Operate a cash register, handle returns and exchanges, and maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
- Store Maintenance
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor, checkout areas, and stockrooms.
- Restock shelves, face merchandise, and maintain visual displays to ensure a visually appealing store environment.
Requirements
- Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior retail or customer service experience preferred.
- Skills and Abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
- Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a cash register.
Working Conditions
- Most of the time is spent moving about frequently on hard surfaces.
- Frequently requires lifting objects up to 30 pounds.
- Located in a comfortable indoor area with infrequent exposure to temperature extremes and loud noises.
Compensation and Benefits
