Key Responsibilities:
- Providing exceptional customer service at the front desk by managing the check-in and check-out process for pets.
- Carrying out various duties, including extensive cleaning, lifting, and handling dogs of all sizes and breeds, while ensuring a nurturing environment for our furry guests.
- Maintaining cleanliness in boarding areas, washing pet items, caring for outdoor spaces, and performing thorough cleaning tasks throughout the facility.
- Preparing and serving meals, treats, medications, and fresh water to the animals.
- Bathing dogs as needed.
- Supervising dogs throughout the facility to ensure their safety and well-being.
- Exhibiting excellent customer service skills.
- Basic computer skills are beneficial but not essential.
- Displaying a friendly and positive attitude.
Job Requirements:
- The morning shift begins at 7:00 am.
- The afternoon shift typically concludes around 7:00 pm, though it may end earlier depending on the closing time.
- Employees are expected to work at least one weekend each month, with Saturday shifts starting at 7:00 am and ending between 5:30 and 6:00 pm. Sunday shifts involve a split schedule starting at 7:00 am and concluding between 9:00 and 10:00 am, followed by a return at 2:00 pm for final dog care, usually finishing around 6:00 or 6:30 pm.
- After a weekend shift, employees are given Mondays and Tuesdays off.
- Holiday operations are similar to Sunday schedules, with all team members working either morning or afternoon shifts for approximately three hours.
