Wind Turbine Maintenance Technician II

Pearce Services is seeking a skilled Local Wind Turbine Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for conducting daily maintenance tasks, including cleaning, organizing, and performing minor repairs on wind turbine generators and related equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct routine maintenance of equipment, including fueling and lubrication
- Operate a motor vehicle safely and legally, adhering to company policies and insurance requirements
- Perform Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedures to ensure a safe working environment
- Complete and maintain required company and client documentation and records using computer-based service reporting tools and procedures
- Use various torque and tension tools to perform maintenance tasks
- Perform other daily work requirements as directed by supervisor with general supervision
- Two years of experience in wind maintenance required
- GWO Certified (preferred)
- Ability to work within confined space areas, such as inside a wind turbine nacelle
- Ability to climb a wind turbine vertically at least 300 feet
- Ability to maintain a weight between 120 and 280 pounds, including clothing and boots, for OSHA safety compliance
- Ability to lift and move equipment as needed (more than 50 pounds)
