We are seeking a skilled Radiation Therapy Technologist to join our team at UNC Lenoir Health Care. As a key member of our Cancer Center, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to our mission to improve the health and well-being of our community.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver accurate and precise radiotherapy treatments in association with CT-Simulation and Ultrasound modalities.
- Provide direct patient care services, ensuring a positive and compassionate experience for our patients and their families.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
- Perform duties and conduct interpersonal relationships in a manner that reflects positively on our department and hospital.
- Graduate of an AMA or CAHE approved school of Radiation Therapy Technology.
- Certified with American Registry of Radiological Technology for Radiation Therapy or registry eligible.
- Basic dosimetry skills, good interpersonal and communication skills, and good organizational skills.
Our team works in a fast-paced environment with direct and indirect exposure to airborne and blood-borne pathogens. You will be required to walk and stand throughout your shift, lift patients with assistance daily, and work in a stressful environment with limited exposure to radiation.
