Become the Dietitian You Aspire to Be
- Communicate with and counsel patients according to physician directives and dietary guidelines.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals involved in patient care.
- Assess referral orders to ensure adequate nutrition intake methods.
- Document relevant information in patients' medical records following established protocols.
- Implement nutritional care strategies, modify menus, and assist patients with unique dietary requirements.
- Conduct calorie assessments and provide appropriate recommendations.
- Review, update, and approve menus for nutritional sufficiency.
Qualifications
- Registered with the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the American Dietetic Association.
- State licensure is mandatory.
- Membership in the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics is preferred.
- Bachelor's or advanced degree from an accredited institution with a focus on Food & Nutrition.
- Preferred one year of Clinical Dietetics experience.
