Nutrition Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Registered Dietitian with the ability to deliver high-quality medical nutrition therapy to join our team.
About the RoleThis Part-Time Registered Dietitian position will provide coverage for our long-term acute care unit, working closely with physicians and nursing staff to support patient satisfaction and achieve quality care.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop evidence-based interventions for both inpatient and outpatient care.
- Provide education and training to patients, families, and facility staff on nutritional needs.
- Document patient assessments, goals, and interventions in the medical record.
- Communicate effectively with physicians and clinical staff on patient nutritional status.
- Manage physician orders for therapeutic diets and supplements.
- Participate in patient rounds and maintain clinical nutrition policies to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Employee Assistance Program (EAP).
- Employee Resource Groups (ERGs).
- Career development and ongoing training opportunities.
- Registered Dietitian with Commission of Dietetic Registration and licensed dietitian as required per state regulations.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Food and Nutrition or related field.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards.
- Proficiency in computer software, including word processing and spreadsheets.
