ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to:
- Sales-oriented and motivated by targets.
- Provide an outstanding customer sales experience by leveraging your knowledge of Jewelers Mutual and our offerings, setting us apart from competitors.
- Respond to inquiries from potential clients, delivering customized quotes and insurance coverage for jewelry through inbound calls.
- Utilize various communication channels to engage with new and prospective policyholders.
- Efficiently manage customer interactions using dual screens and multiple software applications.
- Consistently meet all customer sales performance metrics.
- Opportunity to participate in additional projects.
- Regular attendance and punctuality are essential for this role.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum requirement of a high school diploma or GED, or equivalent work experience.
- 1-3 years of experience in sales or customer service is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook.
- Skilled in typing and navigating multiple systems and screens simultaneously.
- Exceed customer expectations by ensuring timely follow-ups and taking ownership of each lead while effectively promoting the Jewelers Mutual brand.
- A strong sense of curiosity, a preference for fast-paced environments, and a sense of urgency.
- Ability to overcome objections and successfully close sales.
- Excellence in accuracy, quality, and teamwork.
- Embrace change, foster a positive work environment, and engage in continuous learning.
- Strong computer skills.
- Exhibit confidence, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude with a desire to succeed and exceed customer expectations.
- Demonstrate patience, empathy, and strong listening skills.
Property/Casualty Insurance Agent License or the ability to obtain one within 30 days of hire.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Occasional requirements to stand, walk, use hands to manipulate objects or controls, and communicate verbally.
