University Workstudy Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented student to join our team as a CED Student Intern - General Business. This role will provide business and program support to enhance and maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of the Center for Economic Development.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct market research and analyze data to track campaign effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
- Assist with marketing campaigns, including social media advertising, email marketing, and direct mail.
- Help create marketing materials, such as blog posts, videos, and infographics.
- Attend team meetings and participate in brainstorming sessions to generate ideas for new marketing campaigns or research projects.
- Provide setup assistance and coordination for all classrooms/collaboration spaces as necessary.
- Coordinate setup, facilitation, streaming, and/or recording of events.
- Junior or Senior level students.
- Ability to work well with diverse populations, including students, faculty, administration, alumni, community, and business leaders.
- Strong writing and copy-editing skills, with excellent organization and time management skills.
- Ability to exercise a strong command of grammar, both written and spoken.
- Excellent MS Office Applications skills, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
The University of Arkansas at Fort Smith offers a competitive hourly rate of $11.00/hour and a dynamic work environment that promotes a healthy work-life balance. We also offer a benefits package, including university contributions to health, dental, life, and disability insurance, tuition waivers for employees and their families, 12 official holidays, immediate leave accrual, and a choice of retirement programs with university contributions ranging from 5 to 10 percent of employee salary.
