Faculty Position in Family Medicine Residency

We are seeking a dynamic, board-certified family physician to join our team as an Assistant Professor in our Family Medicine Residency Program at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS). As a nationally recognized leader in healthcare and academic medicine, UAMS offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our patients and residents.

Responsibilities
  • Provide patient care in our family medical center, including inpatient care and call duties
  • Teach residents and medical students in providing patient care and participating in quality improvement initiatives
  • Serve as a leader and role model for residents, promoting excellence in patient care and education

Requirements
  • Board certification or board eligibility in Family Medicine
  • Graduation from an accredited ACGME program
  • Eligibility for Arkansas medical licensure
  • DEA certificate
  • OB experience preferred, but not required

The UAMS family medicine residency clinics participate in federal, state, and private payer quality improvement programs, including CMS Comprehensive Primary Care Plus and Arkansas Medicaid PCMH.
