Overview:

The Registered Vascular Technologist is responsible for conducting sophisticated diagnostic examinations related to vascular and cardiac circulation utilizing advanced echo, ultrasound, and Doppler technologies.

Our facilities are equipped with state-of-the-art technology and a dedicated team focused on improving patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:


• Execute ultrasound assessments of cerebral, peripheral, and abdominal blood vessels to aid in diagnosing circulatory disorders.

• May carry out therapeutic interventions such as pseudoaneurysm compression.

• Document and maintain examination data, providing preliminary analysis of results along with additional assigned tasks.

• Depending on departmental needs, may also conduct routine abdominal, small parts, breast, OB/GYN, and various vascular ultrasound examinations.

• Support physicians during procedures including biopsies, thoracentesis, paracentesis, and needle localization.

Qualifications:

A. Education and Skills

  • Completion of an accredited Medical Sonography or Radiology Technology Program is mandatory.

B. Experience

  • Preferred 1-2 years of experience in vascular ultrasound.

C. Certifications and Licenses

  • Must possess Registered Vascular Specialist (RSV) or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) certification from ARDMS, CCI, or ARRT.
  • BLS certification is required.

Work Schedule:

Varies based on departmental needs.

Employment Type:
