Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and record patient vital signs and medical histories
  • Perform EKGs and administer injections as needed
  • Enter and update patient data in our electronic health records system
  • Assist physicians and advanced practice providers with patient examinations and treatments
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to patients and families
Requirements
  • Completed a Medical Assisting program
  • Current certification as CMA, RMA, or CCMA
  • CPR/BLS certification
  • Ability to type at minimum 40 WPM
  • 2+ years of experience in a medical office or urgent care setting
  • Athena EMR experience a plus
