Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Analyst to join our US Payroll Operations team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation, distribution, and accounting of employee payroll.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a liaison to employees and third-party payroll vendors to ensure payroll processing accurately reflects company-specific pay policies.
  • Audit employee pay records and reconcile totals by departmental cost center, location, etc.
  • Participate in payroll system upgrades and implementations.
  • Work directly with employees to resolve outstanding payroll inquiries.
  • Ensure FLSA status is correctly captured in the system per employee.
  • Interpret pay policies, e.g., vacation, LOA, disability, workers' compensation, governmental regulations, withholding exemptions, etc., and ensure amounts/deductions are calculated and applied to various accounts correctly.
  • Ensure company compliance with federal and state payroll standards.
  • Stay current with changes in the law and provide expert guidance to the team.
Requirements
  • At least 3+ years of experience processing payroll for US and Latin American countries, specifically Brazil.
  • Full fluency in English and Spanish (Portuguese preferred) for both written and verbal communication.
  • Strong Excel and data analytics experience.
  • Ability to commute to the Rocklin, CA office 2 days/week.
