About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Respiratory Therapeutic Specialist to join our team at GlaxoSmithKline. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing scientific knowledge, business acumen, and customer engagement expertise to specialist customers in support of our biologic product.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Scientific Knowledge and Expertise: Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of our biologic product and its applications, as well as the reimbursement and distribution landscape for specialist customers.
  • Customer Engagement and Education: Provide product educational programs and in-services to customers, ensuring they have a comprehensive understanding of our product and its benefits.
  • Strategic Planning and Execution: Develop and implement strategies to generate sales, including identifying and pursuing new business opportunities and building strong relationships with customers.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, payer relations, and medical affairs, to ensure alignment and effective communication with customers.
  • Performance Metrics and Reporting: Track and analyze sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to drive growth.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a life science or related field.
  • Experience: 7+ years of pharmaceutical sales or medical device sales experience, with a proven track record of success in a similar role.
  • Skills: Strong scientific knowledge, business acumen, and customer engagement skills, with the ability to communicate complex information effectively to customers.
  • Travel: Ability to travel domestically as necessary, with occasional overnight travel required.
