Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in the Acute Care Cardio Thoracic department at UCHealth Memorial Hospital Central.

About the Role

This is a full-time position, working 72 hours every two weeks. The successful candidate will provide direct patient care in a fast-paced environment, focusing on evidence-based practices and patient wellness.

Responsibilities
  • Provide top-notch care to patients with moderate to high acuity, utilizing the nursing process and adhering to established standards.
  • Contribute to exceptional outcomes through effective communication and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Prioritize patient wellness and safety, applying evidence-based practice principles to optimize care.
  • Mentor new healthcare professionals, promoting knowledge transfer and skill development.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

  • A graduate degree from an accredited or state-approved nursing program.
  • A valid RN license in the state of Colorado.
  • At least six months of experience as a Registered Nurse.
  • Current ACLS certification within one year of hire.
  • BLS certification through the American Heart Association or equivalent.
