Job Summary:

The LPN will be responsible for supervising nursing personnel to deliver high-quality nursing care and coordinating care delivery to ensure that residents' needs are met in accordance with professional standards of practice, physician orders, facility policies and procedures, and federal, state, and local guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise nursing personnel to deliver nursing care and coordinate care delivery
  • Ensure that residents' needs are met in accordance with professional standards of practice
  • Coordinate care delivery to ensure that residents receive high-quality care
  • Supervise caregivers to ensure that they are providing high-quality care
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure that residents receive comprehensive care
Requirements:
  • 2-3 years of clinical experience
  • Gerontological nursing experience, including experience with dementia populations
  • Valid and current LPN/LVN state license
  • Ability to read thermometers, charts, and testing equipment
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English in an understandable manner
Physical Demands:
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and squat for prolonged periods
  • Ability to push and pull objects and lift and carry up to 20 pounds, unassisted, on a frequent basis
  • Full use of gross and fine motor skills of the upper and lower extremities
