Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at the Progressive Vision Institute.

Job Summary:

The Licensed Practical Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, evaluating patient needs, and completing assessments to ensure accurate and timely care. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and maintain a safe and clean environment for patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate patient needs and complete assessments to provide supportive care before, during, and after procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care.
  • Provide a safe and clean environment for patients, including cleaning and disinfecting equipment and maintaining inventory of supplies and medications.
  • Administer medications and other therapeutic measures in a safe and accurate manner.
  • Participate in performance improvement programs and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing.
  • Current license from the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing to practice as a practical nurse.
  • Experience in operating room preferred.
  • Current BCLS certification.
