Job Overview
The Trayline Associate plays a vital role in the food service department, specifically focusing on the AYR Cold Starter position within the patient tray line. This role involves the precise placement of cold food items on patient trays according to the provided tickets.

This position is responsible for adhering to the Tray Passer standards, ensuring that trays are delivered within the designated timeframe while upholding all food safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently manage multiple tasks including patient tray line operations, tray passing, and assisting in the dish room as necessary.
- Maintain knowledge of food service regulations, including HACCP standards and temperature monitoring.
- Prepare cold food items and accurately deliver patient trays in accordance with individual dietary requirements.
- Portion patient orders onto trays based on printed tickets, ensuring compliance with specific dietary needs.
- Utilize safe knife skills and appropriate cutting gloves.
- Uphold cleanliness, sanitation, organization, and proper food handling practices in all kitchen areas.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management to achieve departmental objectives.
- Follow directions from Leads and perform assigned tasks with minimal supervision.
- Physically capable of pushing tray carts to various patient access locations, with the ability to lift or push up to 50 pounds.
- Adhere to all departmental policies and procedures as outlined in the employee handbook, including attendance, uniform standards, and safety guidelines.
- Engage in the Employee Development Process through self-evaluations, meetings, annual reviews, and mandatory training sessions.
- Perform additional duties as required.

Education Requirements
Preferred: High school diploma or GED.

Experience Requirements
Minimum: Six (6) months of experience in a restaurant or food service environment.
Preferred: One (1) or more years of experience in hospitality, food service, or healthcare settings.

License/Certification Requirements
Minimum: None required.
