We are seeking a detail-oriented Dishwasher to contribute to an exceptional dining experience at The Original Pancake House. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for transporting and cleaning cooking utensils and other Serviceware, as well as maintaining clean work areas and restaurant equipment.

You will thrive in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities with ease. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will ensure that our kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

  • Wash and sanitize pots, pans, and trays, and polish silverware
  • Segregate and remove trash, and place it in designated containers
  • Sweep and mop floors, and wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, and other surface areas
  • Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas, and restock tools and supplies for the next shift
  • Walk the floors and pick up room service and bar trays
  • Maintain temperature logs, and keep the walk-in cooler and freezer organized
  • Assist line cooks in properly prepping, storing, and dating food

Qualifications:

  • Previous knowledge of food service regulations is preferred
  • Skilled in the use of hand tools or machines needed for the position
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to lift, carry, or pull heavy objects
  • Able to stand for extended periods
  • Able to prioritize, organize, and manage multiple tasks
