Surgical Recovery Coordinator

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Surgical Registered Nurse to join our team at All Med Search. As a Medical Surgical RN, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care to adult patients before and after surgical procedures, as well as managing various medical conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Medication Administration: Administer medications and perform treatments as ordered by physicians, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of care.
- Wound Care and Dressing Changes: Provide wound care and change dressings as needed, promoting optimal healing and patient comfort.
- Patient Assessment and Monitoring: Assess patient conditions and monitor vital signs, identifying potential issues and taking prompt action to address them.
- Medical Equipment Operation and Maintenance: Operate and maintain medical equipment such as IVs, catheters, and oxygen devices, ensuring proper function and patient safety.
- Documentation and Communication: Document patient care, assessments, and progress in medical records, and communicate effectively with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Patient Education and Support: Educate patients and families on procedures, conditions, and post-operative care, promoting informed decision-making and empowerment.
- Collaboration and Teamwork: Collaborate with the healthcare team on patient care plans and discharge planning, ensuring a comprehensive and patient-centered approach to care.
Qualifications:
- RN License: Current and active RN license in good standing.
- Catheterization and IV Insertion: Proficient in catheterization and IV insertion techniques.
- Basic Life Support and EMR Systems: Certified in Basic Life Support and proficient in EMR systems.
- Patient Care and Physiology Knowledge: Strong understanding of patient care principles and physiology knowledge.
- Patient Assessment and Tube Feeding: Skilled in patient assessment and tube feeding techniques.
Work Environment:
- Job Type: Full-time.
- Pay: $50.00 per hour.
- Shifts: Day, evening, night, and overnight shifts available.
- Weekly Schedule: 3x12 hour shifts per week.
