About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team as an Acute Hospital Registered Nurse. As a key member of our dialysis care team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to patients undergoing dialysis, including assessing their condition, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and evaluating their progress.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
  • Administer medications, perform dialysis treatments, and monitor patients' vital signs and laboratory results.
  • Document patient information, including medical history, treatment plans, and progress notes, in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
  • Associates Degree in Nursing (A.D.N) from an accredited school of nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N); three-year diploma from an accredited diploma program may be substituted for nursing degree.
  • Experience in intensive care unit (ICU), critical care unit (CCU), emergency room (ER), or medical surgical (Med Surg) settings preferred.
  • Certified Nephrology Nurse (CNN) or Certified Dialysis Nurse (CDN) certification a plus.
