  • Lead day-to-day administrative operations, ensuring seamless workflow and efficient use of resources
  • Collaborate with Program Director to develop and implement policies and procedures
  • Supervise office support staff, providing guidance and training as needed
  • Maintain accurate records and data, including medical and staff records, patient information, and billing data
  • Develop and distribute informational materials and supplies for patients
  • Stay updated on changes in healthcare guidelines, regulations, and insurance policies relevant to substance use treatment and mental health

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain accurate records, including medical and staff records, patient information, and billing data
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures, working closely with the Program Director
  • Collaborate with providers, clinicians, and nurses to identify potential office dysfunction

Requirements:

  • AS degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field; or High School Diploma with at least 5 years experience in medical office management
  • Experience in hiring, supervision, and performance reviews
  • Ability to travel and valid State of Maine Driver's License, insurable under WPHW's automobile insurance plan

Salary: $70,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience
