About the Job

We are seeking an experienced Backend Developer to join our team at Twist Bioscience. As a key member of our development squad, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining high-performance backend systems using industry-leading cloud computing platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement scalable backend architectures using cloud-based infrastructure
  • Develop robust software solutions using modern programming languages and frameworks
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify technical requirements and develop solutions that meet business needs
  • Analyze system performance and optimize for scalability, reliability, and maintainability
  • Leverage agile methodologies to deliver high-quality software features on time
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on cloud computing and backend systems
  • Expertise in Salesforce development, including components, data management, and integration
  • Certification in Salesforce Platform Developer I and/or II
  • Strong knowledge of cloud-based infrastructure, containerization, and DevOps practices
  • Experience with Agile software development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
