Job Summary

Rutgers University is seeking a highly skilled Business Systems Analyst II to join its Office of Information Technology (OIT). This full-time position is responsible for the functional administration of Oracle ERP Cloud system, including design, testing, implementation, monitoring, evaluation, updates, and end-user support of all automated and manual financial accounting systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate business requirements and work with university-wide end-user committees to determine solutions as business needs evolve and financial systems change.
  • Configure financial system modules to optimize all aspects of the Oracle ERP Cloud, including sub-ledger accounting rules for accurate accounting between Sub-Ledgers and General Ledger.
  • Produce and maintain general configurations such as banks, bank branches, payment document numbers, profile options, and transaction codes for Cash Management.
  • Maintain internal tracking systems to notate configuration changes, test results, and approvals for production migration.
  • Research and evaluate the need for potential new and/or additional modules, applications, or upgrades and provide recommendations to improve business processes.
  • Evaluate and test Oracle monthly patches, quarterly, and semi-annual upgrades for overall functionality with concentration on configurations.
  • Collaborate with staff from various departments to ensure data flows from one module to another as expected via system integration and accounting rolls-up properly.
  • Provide timely end-user support, track issues, and communicate resolutions to end users.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
  • A minimum of five (5) years relevant technical or business/industry work experience.
  • Equivalent education, experience, and/or training may be substituted for the degree requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience with configuration, administration, and support of DocuSign, Perceptive Content, and Banner is highly preferred.
