We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Experience Coordinator to join our team at WEIS LLC. This role is responsible for ensuring a seamless customer experience by directing the flow of customers through the Front End, monitoring breaks and lunches, and enforcing security and cash control procedures.

Key Responsibilities

* Directs the flow of customers through the Front End, ensuring efficient service and minimizing wait times
* Monitors breaks and lunches to ensure continuous customer service
* Enforces security and cash control procedures to prevent losses
* Assists cashiers with getting change, checking prices, voids, refunds, etc.
* Conducts unannounced audits on cashiers
* Monitors the performance of cashiers and lot attendants, providing feedback to management
* Participates in training/retraining of front-end associates to ensure high levels of productivity, speed, accuracy, and courtesy to customers
* Operates front-end scanning equipment and register, performing all related check out procedures
* Assists customer service with answering phone calls and using intercom for necessary announcements or pages
* Maintains accuracy during transactions, ensuring customers are charged for all items and appropriate funds are collected
* Maintains proper security measures and cash drawer accounting procedures
* Maintains knowledge of weekly ads, marketing promotions, and store layout to answer customer questions
* Responsible for general sanitation in the department, following cleaning schedules and department guidelines
* Ensures smooth function of department and store by cooperating with co-workers and superiors

Requirements

* Education and/or experience completed or working towards a high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
* No prior experience required
