Overview

Gallatin Smiles Dentistry is a dynamic and professional dental practice seeking a highly skilled Registered Dental Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with experienced professionals, gain valuable experience, and take your career to the next level.

The primary role of the Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) is to assist the dentist in providing exceptional patient care, while maintaining a clean, sterile, and cheerful environment. This includes preparing patients for treatment, assisting doctors during procedures, and ensuring efficient, quality dental treatment.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the dentist in gaining patient commitment for optimal treatment with urgency
  • Actively participate in the Perfect Patient Experience by focusing on individual patient needs and concerns
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to American Dental Association guidelines
  • Complete x-rays and intra-oral pictures as directed by the dentist
  • Instruct patients on postoperative and general oral health care
Qualifications
  • Equivalent to high school diploma or GED, with specified training courses for certification, licensure, or registration
  • Certifications/licenses/registrations as mandated by state for applicable areas
  • Associate degree or one-year certificate from an accredited college or technical school; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred

Compensation

$19.25-$27.00 per hour
