Job Summary

We are seeking highly skilled and compassionate Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) to join our team at AMR. As an EMT, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and emergency medical services to our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Treatment: Conduct thorough assessments of patients, determine necessary care, and deliver emergency services using appropriate medical techniques and equipment.
  • Documentation and Confidentiality: Accurately document patient information, condition, and treatment while maintaining confidentiality and patient rights.
  • Environment and Equipment: Maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients, and utilize appropriate EMT skills to provide care, including communications, medical equipment, cleaning procedures, office equipment, and tools.
  • Ambulance Operations: Operate an ambulance in conjunction with applicable company safety policies and traffic laws related to the operation of emergency medical response vehicles.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel, as well as your fellow EMTs.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Community Programs: Participate in community programs to maintain AMR's image and establish strong community relations.
Requirements
  • Age and Education: Must be at least 18 years of age and have a High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Certifications and Licenses: State EMT certification, CPR/BLS certification, and a valid State Driver's License.
  • Driving Record and Physical Ability: Driving record in compliance with company policy and pass a Physical Ability Test (PAT).
  • Experience: Some work experience, preferably in healthcare, is preferred.
